Surgical:

GOAL:

Removal of the endometriosis or cysts and sparing of the healthy tissue.

This is achieved using minimally invasive surgery in the form of a laparoscopy or conventionally via an incision in the abdomen. The visible endometriosis is removed or coagulated. Any further scarred tissue, which also may be responsible for infertility, can also be removed.

In our hospital, the Klinik fuer MIC, our highly qualified specialists are capable of removing even very large endometriosis sites, extending to neighbouring organs, using laparoscopy. Due to the small incisions, the post-operative pain is greatly reduced and you may normally leave the hospital just a few days after the operation.
